I had been wanting to try Perk Coffee and Doughnuts for a while and had the perfect opportunity to indulge when my younger sister Louisa came to stay with me for a few days.
Perk have their main shop on Church Street in Inverness however they recently opened a pop up at the Salt Shed which has outdoor seating and lovely views looking out over the city. There were six flavours to chose from, however I had heard great things about the vegan Biscoff so that was my choice, whilst my sister went for the blueberry and lemon cheesecake. It was sooo delicious and combined with a coffee by Dear Green coffee roasters I ended up having a wonderful sugar/caffeine buzz for the rest of the day! Louisa was really pleased with her choice too and is already planning her next trip up north so she can get her Perk fix.
The pop up is open Mon-Fri 10-3pm at the Salt Shed outside the Redcliffe Hotel in Inverness.
