For those of you who didn’t read my previous post, I am sad to say that baking/blogging is going to have to be put on a bit of a hiatus for the foreseeable future…

I am going to be leaving Edinburgh and moving up to Inverness to train to be a nurse. Sadly this means parting with my beloved baking oven, boxing up my cake tins and moving into student halls. The nursing course is pretty intense and I will also be working as a health care assistant on the weekends to supplement my student bursary. Because of both of these reasons I know I am just not going to have the facilities or the time to continue with baking/blogging.

As a result of this I decided to have a look back through all the things I have posted in the past few years. It is great to see how much my baking and photography skills have come along and I would definitely recommend keeping a blog to any bakers or creatives out there who want to keep a record of their creations.

When I started blogging I promised myself that I would never make it a chore. I know that some bloggers have set upload dates and can do up to 3 posts a week in the hope that they might make money from it or become the next Zoella. For me it was always just for fun and now I have something nice to look back on as well as having all my favourite recipes in one place for future reference. I definitely plan to come back to blogging and will continue to upload pictures of things I have baked, just minus the recipes (to be honest I have already done this quite a lot this year as I have got busier)
